Finding an aesthetic and highly operational solution to manage the entry and exit of heavy goods vehicles from Italian Ports: This has been the Leonardo Group’s goal since its first years of collaboration with Smartkiosk. A particular kiosk, which would combine design bias with a particular operational simplicity, to allow the on-site installation of connections with the structural peripherals present.

Development

The way to Port

A highly customised access kiosk had to be created, both in terms of design (each Port has its own specific requirements), and from an operational point of view, because access had to be made easy for the employees who would have to assemble the specific communication tools and their connections on site on the internal arrangements.

Excellent work has been completed at the Port Authority of the Southern Tyrrhenian and Ionian Seas (Corigliano, Gioia Tauro, Crotone and Vibo Valentia) the Port of Salerno, and lastly a specific solution for the Port of Genoa with entrances for heavy vehicles and pedestrian columns.
